What To Do
... when you have no idea what you want to do.
So we've all been in a moment of overwhelm (or just general negativity) where we have no clue what to do with ourselves, and a lot of options. Some of which are scary, or overdue on a to do list, or what have you. So when you are overwhelmed with your choices, and don't even know where to start, I made a guide!

The first step is to decide how you want to feel. Do you want to feel calm? Excited? Productive? This sets the tone for the other decisions we're going to make next. For example, as I'm doing this exercise while we yap about it, I want to feel cozy and in control.
Next, we decide on our atmosphere. How would you describe the atmosphere you want, and what needs to happen in the room we're in to get the vibes to more align with how we want to feel? Right now, for example, I want my environment to feel soft and clean. So, so a 10 minute tidy, a lit candle, the cute blanket my friend got me for my birthday, and a cozy movie would probably do WONDERS for the atmosphere I am aiming for.
Third, we think about how our appearance could align better with the feelings we're aiming for. Wearing three day old pajamas and not brushed hair would not align with the desire to feel productive and fresh, ya know? So, just like atmosphere, what are a few words to describe how you'd like to look, and what are some things you could do to get closer to that? For me, putting on an oversized hoodie and maybe a face mask would boost things up a little.
Lastly, let's think about some activities- I could settle under my soft blanket and make a plan for all the things that are in my control, and maybe journal about the things that are out of my control now so I can work on letting them go. If you're aiming for uber productive, maybe that's scheduling doctor appointments or knocking out some deep cleaning. The world is your oyster!
Hopefully filling out this worksheet helps you feel more like yourself, and gives you a roadmap to an evening you feel good about ☼
Best,
Zoey
