who we are
The Conservatory is our community of wonderful humans trying, like you, to understand themselves in a way that actually helps them live a life they like.
It is a space on the internet designed to feel like a space to breathe, to encourage you to engage in activities that are purposeful and intentional.
how we came to be
With how overwhelming the outside world is right now, I was desperate for a spot that felt like a soft place to land. A place on the internet that was filled with betterment and coziness, and an archive of tools and ideas that I could use to soothe the wounds in my heart and stress in my head.
And I wanted a community of others who were looking for the same thing. So I created one.
who am I?
I'm Zoey, your resident cozy enthusiast and avid journaler.
I was using the internet (specifically TikTok, tbh, my screentime was unholy) to put bandaids on the bullet holes of my issues, and, to no one's surprise, I was miserable.
Until I started journaling, and that changed my life. I became clear on who I was, what I wanted, and what I valued. Out of that came a desire for a community of other gentle people and a space to breathe online, because everywhere I went was inundated with AI and ads and the news... And I needed a break.
So I created Seeing Thyself and the Conservatory, to help others get to know themselves better, and to create a community of others looking for a similar online space.
